About the Booths

What are the sizes of the photo booths?

Snaptured Booths measure 1.3m (wide) x 2.3m (long) x 2m (high).

How does the booth work?

You simply touch the screen to start, pose & smile then wait 15 seconds and collect your instant printout from the side. It really is that simple!

How many people can I get in the booth?

Our Booth is one of the most spacious booths available and can accommodate around 8 people at a time.

What photo booths colours/themes do you have?

Our photo booths are predominantly white and feature our Snaptured Logo in discreet colours. We also use a royal red curtain as this adds an air of glamour to the booths.

We also have a vintage themed booth, which is fantastic for vintage themed weddings and events.

We also have a glitzy Christmas booth to capture the highlights (and lowlights) of your Christmas Party.

What cameras do your booths use?

Our photo booths use high end professional SLR cameras resulting in sharp quality pictures.

What printers do you use?

We use thermal dye sublimation printers, the same as the photo processing companies use, the best in the business. The prints are fast, touch dry and water proof immediately.

What hardware technology do you use for your booths?

We use the very best of Apple© Technology.

What does the Facebook feature do?

As part of our service we upload a selection of images from your event to our Facebook fan page. You also have the option to have all of your event photos uploaded to Facebook after your event, so that your guests can tag themselves and share the images with their friends. It’s entirely up to you whether you would like us to do this for you, just let us know your preference at the time of booking.

How does the video messaging work?

Each photo booth has a touch screen. Your guests get to choose from 3 options, prints in colour, prints in black & white and video message. The booth is fully automatic and will switch between the two modes instantly so your guests can have their prints and leave you a video message whilst in the photo booth. All movies from the night, in addition to pictures will be copied on to your USB. This will be provided soon after the event.

Backgrounds & Prints

Can I customise my background or curtain?

You can select a background or curtain from our popular selection, or if you wish you can customise your own to fit in with your specific theme for small fee. This is also a great idea for corporate events and product launches. This will be discussed with you during your consultation.

Can I have colour or black and white prints?

Your guests can choose to print pictures in colour or black & white via the touch screen.

Can you do different print layouts?

Yes, these will be discussed with you during your consultation.

Can I choose to have personalised text/branding on my prints?

Absolutely! When you book our booths we will ask you what you would like on your printout and our graphic designer will help create this. This option is included with our 3 or 4 hour Packages.

How big are the prints?

Our prints measure 6 x 4”/15 x 10 cm.

Do we get unlimited photos?

Yes you get unlimited photos with all of our packages.

How good are your photos & prints?

They’re fantastic! We have designed our booths to accommodate the same equipment that professional photographers use, so all of your photo booth pictures will be sharp, hi res digital images lit by professional studio lights. We use dye sublimation printers which are the best in the business. The prints are ready in seconds and instantly touch dry. They are also really durable and will not fade over time.

Bookings & Payment

How do we book?

Contact Snaptured to find out if we are available on your chosen date.

Once you’ve received confirmation that we are free, you’ll need to pay a deposit of £100 to secure the date.

The remainder of the balance is then due 30 days prior to your event. You can choose to pay your deposit and final balance by BACS transfer or PayPal.

You will also need to complete our booking form and we have an online version for you to fill in, which you will find on our booking page. Booking online is the quickest and easiest way to make a booking, however if prefer we can email or post a copy.

Once we have received your deposit and booking form we will send you a receipt and confirmation of your booking details.

If you are booking a bespoke package for example:

  • You want a themed booth, backdrop and personalisation; or

  • If your booking is a bespoke corporate booking

Snaptured will organise a free consultation with you to ensure we meet your specific and bespoke requirements.

How much deposit do I need to pay?

We take a £100 deposit to secure your date then the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your event. You can choose to pay by BACS transfer or via PayPal.


What if I cancel my booking, what happens to my deposit?

Your deposit is non-refundable, however the date can be changed if you notify us at least 3 months prior to your existing booking date and the new date sought is available. A new date must be booked within 6 months of the original booking.

Where will we find your bank details if we want to pay by BACS?

You will find our bank details for BACS payments on the bottom of your invoice.

At the Event

How much do you charge for travel?

Travel is free within 50 miles of our base in Leeds. A small charge may need to be added to events outside of this.

Do you stay with the photo booth?

We always have a member of staff attend your event to take care of everything for you. You don’t only hire a booth from us, you also hire a complete service.

How long does it take you to set up the photo booth?

It takes around 1.5 hours to set up and 30 minutes to pack away. Setup and collection is included in all of our prices. If you wish to have the booth set up before the start time a £15 per hour idle time fee is applied.

Do we get a digital copy of the pictures taken in the booth?

Yes you will receive a USB with all the high resolution images taken in the booth after your event. Our USB’s come with an 8GB capacity to endure plenty of storage for pictures, videos and songs! Within 48 of your event we upload a selection of pictures to our Facebook page for you and your guests to view the images. These are available to download at no extra cost!

We have a guest book, can we print a duplicate set of photographs?

We can set the photo booth up to print 2 copies of each picture, 1 for your guests and 1 for your guest book. We can also bring Sharpie pens and encourage your guests to leave messages next to their pictures if you would like too!

What happens Snaptured Photobooth is running late for set up?

Snaptured Photobooth will stay for the extra time to compensate for time lost.

What happens if the wedding / party / event is running late and you can’t get in to set up?

Snaptured Photobooth are only contracted to stay for the original hire time, we will try to set up as quickly as possible so you get the most time from the booth but we may not be able to stay any longer than the original time booked. Please ensure we can set up 2 hours before your specified start time.

What are the electricity requirements for the booth?

We just need one standard plug point as close to the area as possible.

What if we need help during the event?

All of our packages come with a super Snaptured Photobooth attendant. Our super attendant will take care of everything for you and show your guests how to operate the booth.

Will there be a problem if our event is on the 5th floor?

No, our photo booths can fit anywhere and can be easily transported around venues but there may be a surcharge depending on the venue. But a lift is essential to transport the booths across multi-story’s.

Can it be used in marquees or outdoors?

Our photo booths require a covered location as electricity and water don’t mix and you can never guarantee the British weather (even in the Summer)! They are absolutely fine in a marquee as long as there is a relatively flat, solid floor and power for a normal 13 amp socket.

Do I need consent from guest/users when using social media integration

Yes it is your responsibility to receive consent from your guests before posting their images. Snaptured Photobooth is not responsible for your content posted online.

When will I receive all the images/videos?

These are provided immediately after your event on a USB, or posted to you on the next working day.

Who owns the pictures and photo rights from each event?

Snaptured Photobooth has sole ownership of all photos taken and processed from every event.

Do you supply a props box?

We offer a free prop box with all of our packages, full of stylish and fun props. You are absolutely welcome to bring your own props if you wish. If there are specific props that you really want for your event please discuss during consultation.

What about insurance and safety?

Yes, all professional photo booth companies must carry Public Liability Insurance, all our booths are also electrically PAT tested. Should your venue require copies of our certificates, including our risk assessment, just let us know.
